Michael graduated from Florida International University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He earned his law degree, from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. Concurrently, Michael attained a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Nova Southeastern University Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship. While earning his JD/MBA degrees, he served as the Associate Executive Editor of the ILSA Journal of International & Comparative Law for Vol. 24 and as the Director of Public Relations for the Transactional Law Practice Group at NSU, 2017-2018. In addition, Michael received a certification in International Law & Transactional Law during his legal education abroad from Stetson University College of Law in The Hague, Netherlands.
Michael is licensed to practice law in all state courts in Florida and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Michael was born in Bogota, Colombia and emigrated with his parents and two siblings at the age of seven. He enjoys nature, music, sports, traveling and spending time with his family.
