Jessica Isriel, – Office & Account Administrator
Jessica Isriel was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She is the sister of the owner of IP Ronald Isriel. Jessica joined the IP team in May 2009 as the Office Services Coordinator, and since then she is now in Administration. Jessica supports all members of the firm, and handles all of the day-to-day Administrative duties such as managing QuickBooks, Accounts Payable and Receivables, Payroll, Reports, and all Computer IT services. She plays an intricate role which allows Attorneys and Para-professionals to work without concern of the day-to-day tasks by maintaining a clean, and fully operational work environment.
Matilde “Matty” Dopico, – Real Estate & Financial Administrator
Matty joined IP in January 2003 as the firm’s receptionist. She was eager to learn as much as possible and has proven to be a great asset to IP. Matty has been promoted many times during her tenure holding such positions as legal assistant, real estate closing processor, bookkeeper and office manager. At present, she is the firm’s Real Estate & Financial Administrator handling all real estate transactions, accounting and client billing. Matty is one of the first recipients of the IP 5 years of service award.
Angelica Raymond, – Receptionist & Scheduling Coordinator
Angelica Raymond was born in Colombia and raised in Miami Florida, she is fluent in English and Spanish. She graduated from Miami Killian Senior High in 2008 and joined The United States Marine Corps in 2012. She then obtained her bachelor’s degree in 2017 in Criminal Justice, minor in Sociology and Pre-Law certificate from Florida International University.
Angelica joined the IP team in 2017. She supports all members of the firm and handles all the day-to-day Administrative duties including being the firm’s legal assistant, receptionist, and scheduling coordinator. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves going to the movies as well as scuba diving and doing any outside sports.
Monica Lopez, MBA, FRP – Senior Paralegal
Monica Lopez has been a Senior Paralegal at Isriel Ponzoli since 2013. Her duties include drafting and preparing of legal documents, preparing and assisting cases for trials, and assists several attorneys in the development of each case. Ms. Lopez has a Masters in Business Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. She has been a Florida Bar Registered paralegal since 2014 and a Public Notary since 2009. She is fluent in Spanish and has over 10 years paralegal experience, in commercial litigation, wrongful death cases, personal injury, foreclosures, first party insurance defense and receiverships. She also has several years of experience in banking and management. In her spare time, she has served as the PTA President at her daughter’s elementary school, for two consecutive years and has earned recognition from Representative Carlos Curbelo, for her dedication to the community. She also enjoys planning weddings and corporate events. She pursued her Certification from Lovegevity the Wedding Planners Institute. Her superior leadership, thirst for knowledge, strong organizational skills, professional demeanor and unique experience, makes her an asset to this firm.
Carla M. Miro – Paralegal
Carla M. Miro was born and raised in Miami, Florida. As a young adult, she obtained an Associates degree in Computer Programming and then went on to obtain another Associates degree in Paralegal Studies.
Shortly after that, Carla also pursued a degree in Criminal Justice from St. Thomas University.
Her employment history consists of working in the banking industry for five (5) years, and eighteen (18) years working as a Paralegal.
Her experience entailed working with top attorneys in the areas of bankruptcy appeals, child support, commercial litigation, criminal, divorce, errors & omissions, foreclosure (plaintiff and defense) personal injury, (pre-lit and litigation) insurance defense, medical and professional malpractice, probate, products liability, traffic, transactional and wrongful death.
She has volunteered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training, helping to fundraise over $60,000.00 as part of Team Tahoe. She has also volunteered with her local church serving in the children’s ministry.
Additionally, every year, with the help of her children, Carla helps feed the homeless in downtown Miami and provides them with comforters in the winter.
Carla is the proud mother of a twenty year old daughter and ten-year old son. On the weekends she enjoys time on the water and races competitively with Puff Dragon Boat Racing Team. She also serves on the board of the SOUTHEASTERN REGIONAL DRAGON BOAT ASSOCIATION as the state representative for Florida.
