Judy was born and raised in New York and graduated from the University of Buffalo. After moving to Miami, Judy graduated from St. Thomas University College of Law. Judy began her law career at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office. During her 20 years at the Public Defender’s Office, she worked in the Domestic Violence Division and Felony, Misdemeanor, and Juvenile Units defending all domestic crimes including battery, assault, and violation of the injunction, and defending clients accused of abuse, homicide, assault, gang crimes and juvenile delinquency matters. Judy has conducted over 150 felony and misdemeanor jury and bench trials to verdict.
After her time at the Public Defender’s Office, Judy has expanded her practice to include civil litigation, insurance defense litigation, and family law. She is experienced handling in homeowners’ insurance cases for various insurance companies
In family law, Judy has handled domestic violence injunctions, paternity and divorce issues, child custody and spousal support cases and litigation.
Judy loves spending time with her friends and family, traveling and gardening.
